Two approaches

Some people may elect to manually arrange every aspect of the stage, including

• Locations and the poses of the actors.

Other people may elect to:

• Manually create the actors
   
• Drop them onto the stage (the world)
   
• Write the necessary code to move them to their correct locations, arrange their poses etc.

Either approach (or a combination of the two) is simply a matter of preference on the part of the programmer.
