Deleting an unwanted method

Many items in Alice can be deleted by right-clicking the item and selecting the delete entry in the resulting popup menu.

That is not the case for methods.

To delete a method:

• Highlight the object to which the method belongs in the object tree
• Select the methods tab below the object tree
• Drag the tile containing the name of the method to the trash can at the top of the screen.

If other methods reference that method, you will need to go through a clean-up dialog before you will be allowed to delete the method.
