During the manual setup phase:

You must use the Import... item on the File menu to add two objects created from this class to your world. 

To be consistent with the code in Listing 2:

You will need to rename the two objects spinningHare1 and spinningHare2.

By now, you should have no difficulty understanding the code in these two programs.
