The Java Tutorials and other content on this site were written by Richard Baldwin, previously a computer industry executive and currently a Professor of CIS/CSC at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. 

Richard holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and has over 30 years of experience serving at an executive level within high-tech engineering companies. He has authored many technical papers of an instructional nature on C++ and Java programming and occasionally speaks at industry conferences.
